The HCA-108 standard COD digester (COD automatic digestion reflux instrument) follows the basic principles of international standards (ISO) and national standards (HJ828-2017), ensuring a digestion operation with reflux heating and slight boiling for 2 hours. The preparation and addition amount of the reagent solution are consistent with the national standard method, ensuring reliable and accurate analysis results.
The HCA-108 standard COD digester adopts microcomputer technology for timed control heating of the electric furnace, which can simultaneously heat 8 250ML conical digestion reflux devices. To achieve the goal of energy conservation, reducing power load, and improving efficiency.
The instrument adopts a glass burr reflux tube instead of a spherical reflux tube, and uses air cooling technology to replace the tap water reflux cooling method. At the end of the condenser tube, static water is used to assist in cooling, which can save water and standardize the instrument, while also improving the safety of instrument use.
The chemical solution preparation, operation, and COD calculation of the instrument strictly follow HJ828-2017 (instead of GB11914-89). COD water samples below 50mg/L can be improved in accuracy by diluting titrants and oxidants. COD water samples above 700mg/L can be determined by diluting the water sample in proportion.
Performance characteristics:
Adopting a new type of rare earth alloy strip wave heating wire flat plate furnace, the surface is covered with a microcrystalline glass panel that can withstand high temperatures of 800 ºC. The electric heating wire has an extremely long lifespan, and the surface heating is uniform during heating, with fast heating and cooling speeds.
The furnace tray uses a new type of high-temperature resistant inorganic environmentally friendly insulation material, which reduces heat loss in the bottom plate and surrounding areas, ensures uniform heating and thermal conductivity, and improves thermal efficiency.
The surface of the high-temperature resistant microcrystalline glass panel in a flat electric furnace is easy to clean. If the sample solution accidentally drips onto it, just wipe it dry with a cloth to reduce damage to the instrument caused by improper operation.
Improved glass burr reflux tube and heat dissipation system ensure good digestion reflux effect and parallelism of sample digestion results.
Users can choose different digestion temperatures according to their needs, and the instrument can display the surface temperature of the electric furnace plate during operation.
The digestion time can be set. After the digestion is completed, the instrument automatically stops heating, and the instrument fan continues to work for one hour to assist in sample cooling. It can be left unattended.
It saves electricity and water, improves efficiency, and enhances the safety of the instrument.
