Product Description

Chamber Resistance FurnaceChamber Resistance Furnace

Usage:

This series of resistance furnaces are all cycle operated and are used for element analysis and determination in laboratories, industrial and mining enterprises, scientific research and other units, as well as heating during quenching, annealing, tempering and other heat treatments of general small steel parts. In addition, a high-temperature box type resistance furnace with a rated temperature of 1300 ºC can be used for heat treatment of alloy steel, as well as high-temperature heating such as metal sintering, melting, and analysis.

Structure Introduction:
The furnace body is made of angle steel and steel plate, and the furnace is sintered with refractory materials. Lightweight bricks are built between the furnace and the furnace body. Heating elements at 950 ºC and 1000 ºC are distributed around the furnace, while heating elements at 1300 ºC are distributed on both sides of the furnace. When using the resistance furnace, please cut off the power when taking and placing objects.

Installation and use:
1. Place the electric stove flat on a flat indoor ground or an appropriate workbench, prohibit wooden frames, and keep away from other objects that are afraid of heat and flammability.
2. The measuring element thermocouple is placed into the pre reserved hole in the electric furnace, and the gap between the hole and the thermocouple should be filled with asbestos.
3. Open the cover of the temperature controller, connect the wires of the electric furnace, power supply, and thermocouple according to the nameplate behind the cover. When connecting the thermocouple, be careful not to reverse the positive and negative poles.
4. For safe operation, the shell of the furnace body and controller must be reliably grounded.
5. A front stage switch should be installed at the power input end of the power supply line for this box, and a wire twice the thickness of the front stage wire should be used as the grounding wire.
6. Before powering on, check whether the return wire matches the nameplate, and whether the wiring screws on the controller are loose. Once everything is ready, power can be turned on to raise the temperature of the electric furnace. At this time, the instrument will display a green indicator light.
7. Due to the possibility of moisture during storage and transportation, electric furnaces must be dried before use. The drying time should be from room temperature to 200 ºC and dried for four hours; Bake at 200 ºC to 600 ºC for four hours.
8. In order to maintain the service life of the electric furnace, the temperature must not exceed the limit temperature, it is prohibited to pour various liquids into the furnace hall, and the oxides in the furnace should be regularly removed.
9. The heating element silicon carbon rod of a 1300 ºC resistance furnace will gradually age after use for a period of time. When the voltage cannot reach the rated power even if it reaches the highest value, it can continue to be used according to the aging connection method in the attached diagram. If the working temperature cannot be reached again, a new silicon carbon rod must be replaced, and the resistance of the silicon carbon rod should be noted during replacement.
10. When using the electric furnace, refer to the instruction manual of the matching temperature controller.

Service:
1. If small cracks occur inside the furnace lining during use and do not affect the normal use of the electric furnace, there is no need to repair it. If the damage is severe and cannot be used, some furnace lining bricks and insulation fillers can be removed to replace the damaged furnace or lining bricks. When re laying, attention should be paid to ensuring that the furnace bricks are tightly aligned, and that the lightweight bricks are tightly aligned. The alignment of the lightweight bricks should not exceed 1.5 millimeters. Use 20-30% finely ground refractory clay powder and 70-80% finely ground cooked clay powder to fill the brick joints. After the repair is completed, it can be used after 1-2 days and nights of drying in the oven.
2. When repairing the furnace, the heating element (electric furnace rod or silicon carbon rod) should be gently removed to avoid damage.
